Director of Marketing

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications to join a healthcare operations client and sit hybrid onsite in Wilks-Barre, PA (predominantly remote, let’s define this so I can set expectations). This individual will be responsible for leading the overall marketing, communications, and brand strategy across multiple business lines, ensuring a consistent and recognizable market presence. They will own both strategic planning and hands-on execution, developing campaigns, thought leadership content, pursuit materials, and communications initiatives that support business growth and strengthen brand awareness. The Director will partner closely with executive leadership, business development, account management, operations, legal, and medical review teams to align marketing efforts with organizational goals and client needs. This individual will oversee external communications, media relations, internal communications, events, and regulatory-focused marketing initiatives while helping position the organization as a trusted authority within a highly regulated healthcare environment. They will also lead and develop a small multidisciplinary marketing team, manage agency relationships, oversee the marketing budget, and establish performance metrics that demonstrate marketing’s contribution to business outcomes. This role requires a player-coach leader who can balance strategic direction with execution while helping scale and mature the marketing function as the organization continues to grow.

Skills and Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience across marketing, brand, and communications functions with hands-on ownership of campaigns, content, and business development materials

• Experience operating within complex, regulated B2B industries such as healthcare, professional services, insurance, claims, government, or regulatory-focused environments

• Leadership experience managing/leading communications and developing teams, agencies, vendors, and external partners in a growing organization

• Experience building and scaling marketing functions, organizational structure, and go-to-market capabilities within a growing company

• Strong background supporting business development efforts through creating and executing integrated marketing, communications, brand, and thought leadership strategies (proposals, presentations, marketing collateral, and pursuit materials)

• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite leaders and partner effectively across cross-functional teams while having autonomy to shape and strategize an existing team/budget

• Familiarity with modern marketing technologies including CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, CMS platforms, SEO, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions • Experience supporting Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR), No Surprises Act initiatives, medical review, IME, workers' compensation, claims administration, or related healthcare services

• Experience marketing multiple service lines under a unified enterprise brand strategy

• Background in regulatory affairs, policy communications, or thought leadership within a highly regulated industry
