Cycle CounterReporting to the MP& L Manager, the Inventory Control/Cycle Counter is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory at the plant as well as offsite locations.Responsibilities:Perform daily cycle counts.Provide root cause for inventory that does not meet standards.Implementation of earn labels and barcoding throughout the plan.Assist all departments with production reporting as needed.Work with all departments on process improvements as it relates to production reporting and inventory accuracy.Analyze PRP/MRD system and problem solve.Aid shipping/receiving department regarding customer inquiries.Participate in continuous improvement teams assigned by the manager.Work with all departments to resolve issues.5s work area.Lead year-end activities – inventory and ACCUMS adjustment.Follow all safety and environmental guidelines for the plant.Other duties as assigned.Academic/Educational Requirement:Experience with MS Office and MRP/ERP system (Plex) and maintain the system when errors occur.Knowledge of quality control systems and standards.Strong understanding and working knowledge of Inventory Control.3+ years proven experience as Cycle counter, preferably in an automotive setting.Required Skills/Experiences:Strong analytical skills, ability to gather, interpret, and analyze information.Strong customer service orientation.Ability to take initiative, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.Must be able to write and complete required paperwork.Must have basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide.What Linamar Has to Offer:Competitive compensation.Employee benefits package includes but is not limited to, drug, dental & vision, etc.401k program.Opportunities for career advancement.Sustainability council.Community based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts.About Us:Linamar Corporation is a Canadian-founded global manufacturer, renowned for its advanced engineering and innovative product development across diverse industries and markets.
