To persuade and support the following of Company policies and business objectives in the daily management of the operations of the Company. To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Decostar. Specific Job Duties: Follow all Decostar Industries health and safety policies and procedures that provide for a safe and healthful workplace for all Decostar Industries employees, contractors and visitors. Attend all job and safety related training as required. Do not operate any equipment, machinery or perform any job task unless you have completed documented training. Participate in all accident investigations, internal inspections or audits or those conducted by any regulatory agency. Do not modify or by-pass any safety‑related systems on any equipment or machinery. Immediately report any unsafe conditions or unsafe behaviors to your Team Leader, Supervisor or the Department Manager. Immediately report any accidents, incidents or near‑misses to your Team Leader, Supervisor Department Manager or the Safety Department. Complete pre‑operational safety checklists prior to operating any equipment or machinery. Inspect examination of workplace condition to ensure they conform to applicable standards. Demonstrates commitment and support personnel to reducing the impacts of its operation on the environment. Assist Process Tech in performing routine checks to verify style/schedule agreement. Monitor proper robot and spray gun function auditing key functionality indication equipment. Assist Tech in refining manufacturing processes as required. Analyze and evaluate statistical data, complete documentation of activities as required. Troubleshoots production problems, performing DFT, Color and appearance/performance tests. Follow work guidance to ensure the departmental key performance indicators are being measured and report non‑conformances to specification. Learn all jobs in the production area to enable job rotation. Perform daily job assignments as required and per the department’s established procedures and work instructions or as identified by the Production Team Leader and supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction. Participate in daily team meetings and offer ideas/suggestions that contribute to meeting the objectives of the department. Check parts for defects and non‑conformance and report appropriately in accordance to the control plan and redirect to the appropriate area. Ensure proper housekeeping and returning all tools, etc. to the proper storage areas at the end of the shift. Perform other duties as required. Understand and maintain your responsibility for health and safety in the workplace. Follow all safety guidelines and usage of all personal protective equipment. Have knowledge of your responsibility regarding health and safety in the workplace and be able to communicate the existence of any potential or actual danger to the employee including setting and maintaining clear, written goals. Understand the employee’s rights under the OSHA Act and do not allow for discrimination against any employee exercising their rights. Cooperate with OSHA/State OSHA inspectors. Always use appropriate personal protective equipment to set good workplace standards and ensure all employees maintain those standards. Know and maintain the safety rules for Decostar Industries. Have knowledge of general workplace health and safety in regards to the general public and visitors to Decostar. Do not use, operate or make changes to any equipment or machinery that may endanger any persons, including yourself. Report any unsafe conditions immediately, including injuries, accidents, illnesses, and property damage. Make sure you and any other employees are trained on any machinery or equipment that you/they are to use. Education: High school diploma or GED is required. Skills and Experience: Manufacturing experience preferred. Physical Requirements: This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing, walking, or sitting for extended amounts of time. Must be able to walk up and down stairs frequently. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis is required. Be able to work near alcohols, solvent, paints, or plastic sanding dust. Work below the knees and above the shoulders will be required. Good vision at a close distance and the ability to distinguish color is required with or without the use of corrective lenses. This position requires the ability to hear alarms with or without the use of hearing aids. Training Requirements: You will receive training to perform your job on an on‑going basis concurrent with Decostar business operations. Training areas will include safety, quality, continuous improvement and other job specific training that is determined to be an essential part of your job and Decostar business operations.
