Elementary Social Worker

The Westbrook School Department is seeking a full time Special Education/General Education Social Worker to support and provide related services to students that have Social Work goals on their Individual Education Plans as well as support and provide Social Work services to our General Education population that need services individually, group, or within classrooms. The position will require working with students in grades K-4 with social-emotional needs and challenges that require support. The position requires: the eagerness to be part of a dynamic team, knowledge of interventions, and participation in IEP meetings. The Social Worker will provide comprehensive services, complete State of Maine paperwork requirements and meet special education timelines.
