divh2Maintenance Tech II Laurel Plant/h2pThe Maintenance Tech must support and maintain a safe work environment and equipment reliability to improve the operations of the CAVA Foods in Laurel, Maryland. The role oversees safety, equipment, production, quality, and distribution to support the consumer-packaged goods business and our CAVA locations throughout the US. The maintenance Tech will report to the Operations manager./ppWhat Youll Do:/pulliPerform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance in assigned area./liliTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment used in the facility./liliPerform repairs and equipment installation/removal in an efficient manner./liliMaintain good housekeeping at workstations and work areas./liliRespond to plant emergencies including equipment malfunction, fires, severe weather, etc. as directed by supervision./liliKnowledge of Lock out / tag out./liliComplete daily maintenance paperwork for assigned work orders/requests and checklists./liliSpecial projects/duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor or manager./liliBe willing to assist in operation of equipment throughout the shift./li/ulpThe Qualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required./lili3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility (Food manufacturing preferred)/lili5+ years of experience in lieu of education/liliCurrent or previous enrollment in a vocational apprenticeship program highly desired or preferred./liliStrong PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices./liliStrong knowledge of wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical troubleshooting./liliExperience in the following areas:/liulliWork order management / CMMS Systems./liliPreventive/predictive maintenance procedures./liliCommonly used industrial hand tools./liliBasic troubleshooting skills./liliBasic blueprint and schematic reading./liliBasic AC/DC electrical and electronic principles./liliBasic metal fabrication and welding (Tig, Mig)/liliBasic Knowledge of Industrial Controls./li/ulliDesired:/liulliDegree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field/lili2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field/liliExperience with automated conveyor systems and controls/liliExperience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards/liliExperience with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)/liliAbility to troubleshoot basic Input/Output functions./liliExperience with robotic operation/ maintenance/li/ul/ulpAllergens: We prepare products with milk and sesame containing ingredients.
