Our client is currently seeking a Pharmacy Floor Technician who supports safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations by preparing medications for final verification by a licensed pharmacist. Working under pharmacist supervision, this role is responsible for picking, labeling, scanning, packaging, and organizing prescription medications while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. This position plays a critical role in delivering timely and high-quality pharmacy services.
This job will have the following responsibilities:- Accurately fill daily medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Pick and pull medications from shelving, prepack racks, and designated storage areas.
- Label blister cards and prescription packages, then scan products to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare finished prescriptions for final pharmacist verification.
- Alert the pharmacist on duty when medications or products do not scan or appear incorrect.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work at a moderate and consistent pace.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Possess and maintain a clear and active Texas Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Texas Board of Pharmacy.
