Job Description Job Description OFFICE FURNITURE ASSEMBLER $19–$21/HR | FULL-TIME | TEMP-TO-PERM | FT. MYERS, FL Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands? Do you have a flexible schedule? We are looking for a dependable Office Furniture Assembler to join a high-end office furniture company in the Fort Myers area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys assembly, using tools, and putting things together . You’ll work as part of a team installing and assembling office furniture, chairs, accessories, and other workplace products for commercial customers. WHAT YOU'LL DO Assemble and install high-end office furniture and accessories Assemble desks, chairs, workstations, and other office products Use drills and basic hand tools Assist with deliveries and installation projects Work with a team to complete installations efficiently Follow assembly instructions and ensure furniture is properly installed Perform general labor and assist wherever needed WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Mechanically inclined – must enjoy working with your hands Previous furniture assembly, installation, construction, maintenance, or general labor experience is a PLUS Comfortable using a drill and basic hand tools Must have your own basic tools Dependable and able to work as part of a team Must have a valid driver's license Must have a clean driving record MUST HAVE A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE Must be available to work evenings and weekends when needed Able to lift, move, and assemble office furniture and accessories PAY & SCHEDULE Pay: $19.00–$21.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Overtime: May be available Weekends: Must be available when needed Position: Full-Time Temp-to-Perm Location: Fort Myers, FL THIS IS A GREAT FIT FOR SOMEONE WHO: Has a mechanical mindset Likes using tools Has experience assembling or installing products Doesn't mind physical, hands-on work Wants a position that can become permanent Enjoys working with a team and traveling to customer locations for installations About Express Employment Professionals Express can help you find the type of job that is a perfect fit for your needs and abilities, and you’ll never pay a fee for our services and support.
