Armed Security Agents Needed

Location: Westchester County, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | In Person

To be considered, applicants MUST possess:

A valid New York State Armed Security License AND either A valid New York State, unrestricted concealed carry handgun license OR a valid Pistol Permit from Non-NYC Counties, which allows individuals to legally work in an armed capacity.

We're seeking experienced Armed Security Agents to support client locations in Westchester . This is an active, highly visible role for professionals who remain alert, exercise sound judgment, and take pride in representing themselves and their company with professionalism.

This is not a static post. Approximately 70-80% of your shift will be spent outdoors conducting foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents as they arise. Every shift presents new challenges, making this an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy staying engaged and making a meaningful impact.

Multiple assignments are available throughout the County of Westchester. Placement will be based on operational needs and business requirements.

What You'll Do

• Conduct proactive foot patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Maintain a highly visible security presence
• Monitor and control access to client properties
• Identify, assess, and respond appropriately to suspicious activity
• Enforce site policies and security procedures
• Respond professionally to alarms, emergencies, and critical incidents
• Assist employees, visitors, and clients with professionalism and courtesy
• Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports
  

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York State Armed Security License
• A valid New York State, unrestricted concealed carry handgun license OR a valid Pistol Permit from Non-NYC Counties, which allows individuals to legally work in an armed capacity.
• Ability to work assignments in Westchester County
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions
• Excellent observation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Professional appearance with a strong customer service mindset
• Proven reliability and strong work ethic
• High School Diploma or GED
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to successfully complete all required screenings and pre-employment training

Compensation

• $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
• $30 - $33.00 per hour for special events
