Owned and operated by Theresa Ashford, the agency provides a full range of brand development services, including Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Product Management, Digital Advertising, Event Production, and Social Media Strategy/Management. Our client roster spans leading music artists, cultural organizations, nonprofits, and emerging brands. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Public Relations Intern with a strong interest in media relations, storytelling, and the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, a thorough researcher, culturally aware, and passionate about music. Interns will gain hands‑on experience supporting media outreach, drafting materials, maintaining press databases, and assisting in the execution of PR campaigns for high‑profile projects. Core Responsibilities Public Relations Research press outlets, editorial calendars, and journalist contacts across music, culture, and lifestyle verticals. Assist in updating and maintaining AMG’s press database and media contact lists. Support in building media plans, target lists, outreach grids, and pitching strategies. Draft and edit press releases, media alerts, talking points, prep briefs, pitch copy, and client communication materials. Help prepare client coverage reports, including weekly or bi-weekly press recaps and single-campaign performance summaries. Monitor industry news, trending topics, and media shifts relevant to AMG clients. Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with digital, content, and social teams to ensure consistency across communications. Organize assets, maintain shared documentation, and assist in internal workflows as needed. Participate in brainstorms and contribute ideas for campaigns, story angles, and pitch concepts.
