ACE Senior Care is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Companion Caregiver to join our team in Tempe, AZ! This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by providing the care, companionship, and support they deserve. If you have a heart for helping others, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients in home and community settings
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands
- Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and recreational activities
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or well-being to supervisors
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation, hobbies, and mentally stimulating activities
- Provide respite care support to family caregivers as needed
- Maintain accurate care logs and documentation for each client visit
- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or a related senior care setting preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and empathy when working with elderly individuals
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Flexible availability for part-time shifts, including possible evenings or weekends
