Critical Care Nurse (RN) - ICU Float Position

Job Description

Join our team as a Critical Care Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU float roles. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various critical environments, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, and CCU. The role requires efficacy in managing ICU patients and those awaiting bed placement in ED and PACU.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ICU patients in diverse clinical environments.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding effectively to changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
• Float as needed to various critical care units, demonstrating versatility.
• Complete competency tests and any required evaluations within designated timeframes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in level I trauma center.
• Experience floating to multiple ICUs is highly desired.
• Must have previous travel nursing experience.

Schedule

This position offers a 7A - 7:30P schedule, with a total of 48 hours per week accepted. Please indicate your interest in this schedule upon application.
