Ob/Gyn Weekend Laborist Physician - Northampton, MA

Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced BE/BC Ob/Gyn to join our collaborative Ob/Gyn and Midwifery team as a Weekend Laborist. • Predictable, flexible schedule: 0.5 FTE covering the equivalent of thirty-eight 24 hour weekend shifts per year.
• Supportive colleagues: Join 10 physicians and 10 certified nurse-midwives who value communication, trust, and shared decision-making.
• A place to do meaningful work: 24 hour pediatric and anesthesia coverage, care for patients in a Baby-Friendly designated hospital with a newly renovated Childbirth Center, Level 1B Nursery, Epic EMR, 6 L&D rooms, and 10 postpartum rooms.

What you'll do

• Manage the labor floor while on call
• Perform deliveries, circumcisions, D&Cs, repeat C-sections, and IUIs
• Provide medical floor and Emergency Department consult coverage

Who will thrive here

• BE/BC in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Minimum of two years of post-training Ob/Gyn experience
