Nurse Practitioner, Neonatology in FL
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Neonatology team in sunny Florida. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide advanced nursing care to critically ill newborns and infants in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive physical assessments on newborns and infants.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Performing procedures such as intubations and lumbar punctures.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Providing education and support to families.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing (or equivalent).
- Current valid Nurse Practitioner license in Florida (or willing to get)
- Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neonatology.
- BLS and PALS certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
