Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Professional for a 13-week assignment in a Critical Access Hospital setting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment and is comfortable working across a broad range of pharmacy responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, accurate, and effective medication use for patients in a rural healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders

• Ensure accuracy and safety in medication preparation and distribution

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

• Provide drug information and education to patients and clinical staff

• Monitor patient medication therapies and identify potential drug interactions

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and safety standards

• Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking medications

• Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance

• Perform additional pharmacy-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license

• Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy setting preferred

• Ability to work variable shifts and adapt to scheduling needs

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare setting

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy systems

• Strong clinical knowledge across a wide range of therapeutic areas
