The role We are looking for a Baker who is responsible for preparing fresh baked goods, keeping bakery cases stocked and inviting, and creating a great experience for every guest. From chocolate chip cookies to banana cream pie, you'll take pride in your craft while working as part of a team that values hard work, collaboration, and attention to detail. What you’ll do Prepare bakery items according to Perkins standards and specifications with consistency and care. Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked bakery display cases using effective merchandising techniques. Support the team by assisting with washing and restocking dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as needed. Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient back-of-house and bakery environment. Perform additional duties as assigned. How you’ll thrive Take initiative and look for ways to improve in your daily work. Put the team first, stay open to feedback, and lead with respect. Communicate thoughtfully and navigate situations with good judgment. What you'll need No experience is required. Prior baking experience is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods.
