Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Specialty Nurse in a facility setting, providing care during night shifts. This role involves managing high-risk obstetrical patients, assisting with deliveries, and supporting postpartum care. The position is suitable for candidates with recent obstetric experience and proficiency in fetal monitoring.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid Ohio (OK) or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, 0 years of experience required, familiarity with obstetric procedures and fetal monitoring equipment
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk deliveries, labor & delivery, postpartum care, and neonatal protocols; knowledge of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) system, and the ability to assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Additional Information: Candidate must be able to assist with high-risk deliveries, handle postpartum hemorrhages, and support early neonatal assessments. Brief orientation will be provided onsite. The facility has a daily census of 100-200 patients and supports interdisciplinary teams including respiratory, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response units. Floating to similar units within scope may be expected based on facility needs.
