Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - VCU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - VCU Health.

Additional Details:

VCU has a natural nail policy.

Required Skills/Experience: Can screen 1 year with strong NICU experience. Servo I ventilator experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Trauma preferred. Teaching hospital experience preferred. Puritan Bennett ventilator experience preferred.

Special Requests: No time off requests during the first week of the contract.

Unit Details: Neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population. High-risk delivery attendance, external transports with competency assessment, pediatric ED (Level 1 trauma center), heliox use, HFOV, and HFJV.

Floating Requirements: Will work both PICU and NICU.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
