Lead Treasury Analyst - IRR Forecasting & Analytics

Location: 127 Public Square, Cleveland Ohio ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Support Key’s management of interest rate risk and forecasting IRR metrics, including measuring exposure and evaluating hedging strategies, periodic scenario analysis and stress tests Assist IRR Manager with setting direction and priorities for the team, meeting production responsibilities while seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement Forecast via the QRM Framework to model the balance sheet to support interest rate risk, funding, liquidity, and capital analysis Outline and sensitivity test key model assumptions Assist in validating new data sources and versions of the modeling framework Work with internal oversight groups Participate in the Treasury Strategy Committee (ALCO subcommittee) OTHER VALUE ADD FUNCTIONS Maintain an awareness of current market and economic conditions Provide insights for process efficiencies, functional realignments, and overall continuous improvement Create concise and clear presentation materials, simplifying complex topics and visualizing data Participate in strategy discussions around hedging and investing as part of overall balance sheet management Improve standard reports and presentation materials for clarity and incorporating additional visual elements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong practical knowledge of ALM cash flow forecasting and valuation software (QRM Framework or similar) Two or more years of diverse banking/financial services experience, preferably with exposure to ALM Strong financial modeling and technical financial risk management skills Bachelor’s Degree is required Preferred academic degree in STEM, Economics, Finance and Accounting Excellent communication and internal partnering skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Familiarity with using, supporting and upgrading ALM software (e.g., QRM, Empyrean) Experience working with financial reporting systems (e.g., Workday, Essbase) Database querying and data transformation expertise (e.g., SQL, python, DB2, SAS) Proficiency in using analytical tools (Python, SQL, SAS, Visual Basic) and Microsoft Office Suite products COMPETENCIES/SKILLS Strong teamwork, organization, and multi-tasking skills Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving capabilities Intellectual curiosity to expand Corporate Treasury, quantitative and analytical skills and knowledge DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES Unique opportunity to gain exposure to Key’s Interest Rate Risk Management, balance sheet, and regulatory reporting Become a subject matter expert in ALM and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book Exposure to senior leaders and stakeholders across the firm COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $63,000.00 - $96,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based on skills, experience, and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
