This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic print operation and make a real impact in a creative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day print shop operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and production output Manage and mentor print shop staff, ensuring quality performance and a positive team culture Monitor and maintain printing equipment, coordinating preventive maintenance and repairs as needed Ensure all print jobs meet quality control standards, deadlines, and client specifications Manage inventory of paper, ink, and other print supplies, coordinating vendor relationships and procurement Collaborate with sales, design, and prepress teams to ensure seamless job handoffs and accurate production Track production costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste Requirements: 3+ years of experience in print production, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role Proficiency with offset, digital, or wide-format printing equipment and processes Strong knowledge of prepress workflows, color management, and finishing techniques Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple jobs simultaneously Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a production team Familiarity with print management software and MIS systems is a plus Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset About Us: Nystrom Publishing Co has built a strong reputation in the publishing and print industry by delivering exceptional quality and reliable service to our clients.
