The Terminal Operator is responsible for railcar and truck loading and unloading operations along with testing and sampling for products and tanks. Safety must be a major focus for this position. Attending trainings and maintaining safety certifications to meet state and federal requirements will be required.

Essential Job Duties:

• Truck loading and unloading operations.
• Railcar offloading operations.
• Product sampling and testing.
• Tank gauging and sampling.
• Maintain existing certifications and attend new training to meet company, state and federal requirements.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and drills as required.
• Ability to prioritize work schedule and ability to function with minimum supervision.
• Accept supervision requirements when working on weekends and holidays.
• Accountability for individual job responsibilities as assigned.
• Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have good problem solving skills.
• Ability to understand documented processes, procedures and company policies.
• Must be conscientious about quality, timeliness and accuracy of work.
• Interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 1-3 years of work related experience as a terminal operator preferred.
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform lifting of 75 pounds and bending.
• Experience and knowledge of liquid bulk terminal operations.
• Mechanical abilities needed.
• Must be dependable with excellent attendance record, and be willing to work different shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Must work well in team environment.
• Strong customer focus.
• Strong hand/eye coordination necessary to operate equipment.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
