Assembly Associate – Lighting ProductsThe Assembly Associate is responsible for assembling lighting fixtures and components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and maintaining quality standards to ensure safe and functional lighting products.Key Responsibilities:Assemble lighting fixtures, housings, and components according to work instructionsPerform basic wiring of LED components, drivers, and connectorsUse hand and power tools (screwdrivers, drills, crimpers)Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are metFollow diagrams, blueprints, and production travelersPackage finished products for shipmentMaintain a clean and organized workstation (5S standards)Report defects, damaged materials, or safety concerns to supervisorsMeet daily production goals and efficiency standardsQualifications:6+ months of assembly or manufacturing experience preferredBasic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical assemblyAbility to read and follow written instructions and diagramsGood attention to detail and manual dexterityAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbsReliable attendance and strong work ethicPreferred Skills:Experience with electrical or LED assemblyFamiliarity with wiring, crimping, and connectorsUnderstanding of basic quality control processesWork Environment:Manufacturing/warehouse settingRepetitive tasks and fast-paced production lineMay require PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.)
