Physical Therapist
Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Jacksonville, TX. This position specializes in outpatient care, focusing on orthopedics, balance, deconditioning, and pain management. Key responsibilities of the Physical Therapist include:
- Gather pertinent data from charts and other caregivers; discuss with physicians as necessary
- Independently assess all patient types as assigned
- Demonstrate the ability to recognize additional needs during evaluation; exercise good judgment in decision-making
- Interpret results and formulate relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable goals
- Reassess patient progress regularly per department and regulatory policy, or when need arises
- Identify appropriate equipment, discuss with patients and families, and make recommendations
Requirements of the Physical Therapist include:
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; Bachelor's degree required
- LPT License in the state of TX (or compact) required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
