Technology handles the paperwork and your clinical judgment stays at the center of every note!We are proud to have ranked in Boston Globe's Best Places to Work in Massachusetts and USA Today's Top Places to Work in the United States since 2023!We will consider RNs and LPNs for this role!Job DescriptionRole: Registered Nurse - Home HealthSalary: $72,000-$92,000Main Office location: Springfield, VirginiaService Area: Reston, Centreville and Surrounding AreasSchedule: Monday - Friday (8:30-5:00pm); Weekend Rotation (not on-call)Job Type: Full TimeQualifications2+ years' nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics is desirable.Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and an active nursing license in Virginia.Proficient with electronic medical records.Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations.Maintain current BLS CPR certification.Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.ResponsibilitiesPatient Care:Assesses and evaluates patient's status by:Writing and initiating plan of care.Regularly re-evaluating patient and family/caregiver needs.Participating in revising the plan of care as necessary.Develops a care plan that establishes goals, based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates palliative nursing actions. Includes the patient and the family in the planning process.Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician in the physician's plan of care.Completes, maintains and submits accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding patient's condition and care given.
