Take the next step in your career by supporting students’ communication needs in a dynamic school district near Upper Darby, PA. This onsite, full-time contract position is ideal for professionals eager to make a significant impact across elementary, middle, or high school environments. You’ll provide speech-language services, collaborating closely with students, educators, and families to foster positive, lasting outcomes.
Three openings are available:
- Elementary caseload
- Middle school caseload (6th–8th grade)
- High school caseload
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services within the assigned grade level
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s progress
- Engage with teachers and parents to ensure alignment in therapy goals and strategies
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and records as required
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility
- Experience in a school-based setting is required; urban school experience highly valued
- Ability to secure and maintain all PA clearances
- Reliable transportation to commute between schools as needed
- Available to work onsite, 35 hours per week, within a 7:15AM–4:00PM schedule (no schedule accommodations)
- Effective communication, organization, and collaboration skills
