Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support capacity
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interactions with students and staff
• Ability to adapt to changing classroom needs with patience and professionalism
• Commitment to promoting student well-being, inclusion, and positive learning experiences

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students under the guidance of classroom teachers and specialists
• Assist with implementing instructional activities and reinforcing lesson content
• Help manage classroom behavior, ensuring a safe, organized, and welcoming environment
• Support students with diverse learning needs, including those with IEPs or 504 plans
• Offer one-on-one or small group guidance, both academically and socially
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
• Help with classroom setup, organization, and materials preparation
• Support supervision during transitions, recess, and meal times as needed
