Accounting Intern

The Accounting Intern will support the Finance/Accounting team with day-to-day administrative and basic accounting tasks. This role is designed to provide hands‑on experience and a foundational understanding of accounting principles in a professional environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with annual audit requests for 2 Puerto Rico locations Work on trial balance creation for Puerto Rico locations Perform basic account reconciliations under supervision Organize and update financial spreadsheets and reports Assist with month‑end close activities as needed Collaborate with team members on ad‑hoc projects and assignments Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Basic understanding of accounting principles (coursework is sufficient) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Strong communication skills and willingness to learn Learning Outcomes Gain exposure to core accounting functions and processes Develop practical skills in financial data management and reporting Learn how accounting supports overall business operations Build professional communication and teamwork skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
