Respiratory TherapistProfession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, RRT Must-Have: Experience in a hospital or acute care setting, clinical experience with various respiratory treatmentsDescription: 1 year experience in specialty is required. First time travelers are welcome. Position will not float between units. On-call is not required. Weekends may be required as needed. Block schedules are not required. Expected patient ratios are variable. Candidates must have experience in adult critical care and emergency department settings. Key skills include extubation, intubation assistance, and airway management. Familiarity with computerized documentation is necessary. Candidates should have experience with ventilator management and oxygen therapy. Ability to troubleshoot high pressure alarms and wean from mechanical ventilation is essential. Special equipment experience is preferred, but not mandatory. References covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.
