Dog Groomer
Sandy's Pet Spa is seeking a dedicated and skilled dog groomer to join our team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will provide top-quality grooming services to our canine clients, ensuring they look and feel their best. You will work with a variety of dog breeds, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Bathe, trim, and style dogs according to their breed standards and customer preferences
- Handle dogs gently and safely during grooming sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work areas
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' grooming needs and health
- Manage appointment schedules and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dog groomer or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and a love for animals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Certification in pet grooming is a plus

Sandy's Pet Spa is a premier pet grooming and care facility located in Chicago, IL. We are passionate about providing exceptional grooming services that enhance the well-being and appearance of pets. Our team is dedicated to creating a welcoming atmosphere for both pets and their owners, prioritizing comfort, safety, and quality at every visit.
Lifting with help as needed anywhere from 10lbs - 160lbs on a daily basis.
Keeping a calm and positive attitude around the animals to ensure they're comfortable in the salon.
Adhering to our company policy of performing as a team and supporting each other throughout the day.
Additional responsibilities include providing a safe and clean grooming environment, maintaining grooming supplies, and communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs.
