Medical Assistant (certified)

Certified Medical Assistant Contract opportunity with Yoh's primary care clinic located in Madison, WI. This candidate will provide primary care, biometric screenings, and venipuncture. Schedule Monday 7:30am-3pm, Tuesday 8am-5pm, Wednesday 7:30am-3pm, Thursday 8:30am-7pm, Friday 8am-2:30pm. Duration 7/13-11/29 with possible extension or direct placement. Pay $19-25/hr DOE. What You'll Be Doing Interview patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination. Cleans and sterilizes instruments. Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials. Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests. Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests. Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients. Performs administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provides assistance at front desk. Keys data into computer to maintain clinic and patient records. May require other duties as assigned. What You Need to Bring to the Table National certification in Medical Assisting (Diploma or RMA not accepted - CMA ONLY). BLS upon hire. Venipuncture experience.
