Associate Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create testing documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, bug reports, and quality and risk assessments.
• Automate product features and collaborate with the automation group to improve regression coverage.
• Triage or assist with triaging automation results.
• Develop deep expertise in the assigned product.
• Conduct QA tests and verify outcomes within established schedules and timelines.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and QA testers in an Agile team environment.

Requirements

• Experience coding in Java and/or mobile languages.
• Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches, including black-box and/or automated testing.
• Graduate-level or relevant work experience involving software development and/or software test automation.
• Curiosity and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred qualifications include SQL experience; Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming knowledge; Atlassian Jira, Greenhopper, or Clover knowledge; mobile testing and automation experience with Appium, XCUI, Espresso, or KIF; and Android or iOS mobile application development knowledge.
