That means finding the highest quality ingredients, curating diverse flavors, and assembling a talented, passionate team that shares our vision and will help us in our mission to build healthy futures in communities all over.Our four core values lead and guide our behavior in the following ways:Be Generous – We incorporate the spirit of generosity into everything we doInnovate – We embrace change and look for new and better ways to execute and deliverServe with Urgency – We pay attention and enthusiastically take action when neededBetter tastes Better – We hold ourselves to high standards and strive to continuously up our game in our food and actionsWe expect our Kitchen Leads to support the restaurant operations by:Upholding and protecting CHOPT's food quality and food safety standards in the kitchen and on the line; initiating corrective actions with employees as needed.Working alongside team members in the Back-of-House to execute successful food preparation as well as efficient set-up of the line in advance of service.Participating in early opening shift functions; initiating prep activities before MOD arrivesManaging portion control through daily grab tests with the team at random and reporting back to GM/AGM on resultsProviding support to the General Manager, in relation to ordering, receiving product, inventory, and reviewing pars.Leading and communicating all pertinent food prep information during LTO roll-outsQualified candidates must have:DOH/ServSafe certification and any required city/state food safety certificationsPossess basic mathematical and quantitative skillsManual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensilsCapability to occasionally move or transport items up to 30 poundsAbility to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment.Availability to work flexible shifts and schedules, especially early morning hoursAbility to communicate clearly with customers and employees and accurately exchange informationAbility to adapt to fast-changing prioritiesSkill in using a computer and/or tabletWhat's in it for you:We invest in YOU.
