Sterile Processing Aide

Job Title

Responsible for the delivery of Case Carts and Endoscopes to specific locations within the hospital. Responsible for inventory counts of OR peel pouches.

Essential Functions

• Performs safe, effective, and compliant transport of instrumentation and endoscopes throughout the hospital.
• Performs inventory counts of OR peel pouches.
• Assists with unloading washer/disinfectors.
• Assists with departmental cleaning practices.
• Performs as part of an interdepartmental perioperative team, to include effective communication and collaboration with interdepartmental teammates.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No. Experience: Central Sterile work experience 0-1 year preferred and Work experience with Inventory Control Systems 0-1 year preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Understands and follows all I C.A.R.E. Standards. Able to work independently. Works as a "Team" member. Basic computer skills required.

This position is Monday through Friday with no weekends or call required. Hours will be 10:00am - 6:30pm OR 12:00pm - 8:30pm. Remote Type: Onsite. Work Location: 789 Central Avenue. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Employee Type: Regular. Work Shift: Day (United States of America). Pay Range: $18.78 - $26.80/Hourly.
