School Occupational Therapist - Gardiner, Maine

What you'll need to succeed:

• Active or eligible Occupational Therapist (OT) license to practice
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of school-based OT interventions and IEP documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Commitment to supporting students' academic, functional, and social-emotional needs

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect OT services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct evaluations, develop goals, and create intervention plans tailored to each student's abilities
• Consult and collaborate with educators and families to promote student success in the classroom and beyond
• Maintain accurate case documentation, progress reports, and billing records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and serve as an OT resource for staff and families
