Overview
Radiology Tech – Interventional Radiology Tech, travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. Start date 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,476–$2,581 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 3x12 nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Work setting: Home Healthcare - Hospice.

Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and active interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using advanced equipment.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality digital images of the heart and vascular system; adjust factors per protocol.
- Position and immobilize patients for examinations; assist physicians during interventional procedures and specialized studies.
- Manage contrast administration and operate fluoroscopy and cinefluorography to aid physician guidance during procedures.
- Enter technical factors, monitor imaging quality, and communicate with the interventional team to ensure patient safety and accurate documentation.
- Provide patient education and explanations of procedures, while maintaining safety and aseptic technique throughout.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT certification is preferred; Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice is required; Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor is required; Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) training is required.
- Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience is required; Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; current BLS certification; current nursing license per the state of assignment.
- Additional: Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice setting; experience in cath lab or interventional procedures is preferred.
