Marketing Intern (Summer 2026)

BKF is a multi‑service infrastructure consulting firm providing civil engineering and surveying services across California, the Pacific Northwest, and beyond. With offices in California and the Portland area, BKF has served transportation, water, land development, government, and federal clients for over 110 years. The Marketing Intern is an entry‑level team member who supports the marketing team with document formatting, graphics production, and data entry for proposals, presentations, and promotional efforts. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, creative individual eager to learn the fundamentals of marketing within the A/E/C industry. Responsibilities Format resumes and project descriptions in Adobe InDesign to align with firm standards Edit professional headshots and images in Adobe Photoshop Enter and update project, resume, and client data in Deltek Vantagepoint Organize and maintain marketing assets and files across Teams, OpenAsset, and Box Assist with basic graphics, presentations, and marketing and communications collateral Work collaboratively with marketing staff and attend team meetings Assist with other projects and assignments, as needed Qualifications Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, English, or related field Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Familiarity with MS365 Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to work well with others and take direction and feedback Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured, team‑oriented environment Physical Demands Mostly a sedentary position, normal bending, stooping and lifting required. Must be able to visually interpret written text, prepare written documents, communicate by telephone and use a computer.
