Job Summary
The organization is seeking an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse for a night shift position at the Sacramento facility. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill patients in a general medical and surgical population, including stable cerebrovascular accident post TPA, respiratory failure, manual proning, COPD, CHF, and DKA cases.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS; required certifications.
• Education/Experience: No minimum years of experience specified, but candidates must have at least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must have a license to submit.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional responsibilities include bedside report, float to other Sacramento facilities, and floor-specific orientation of 1-2 days with a preceptor.
• The role may require on-call duty, and self-scheduling is used with schedule access from home for shifts and trades.
• Candidates must accurately interpret EKG strips and manage Vents, Galileo, and G5s.
• No scrub color specified beyond navy shirts permitted; navy scrub jackets are optional.
• No neuro surgery or CABG patients included in the typical patient population.
• Critical policies include completing a dysrhythmia exam within 24-48 hours prior to signing.
• The position begins on 11/10/2026 and ends on 02/09/2027.
