The Clinical Supervisor provides direct nursing and administrative support for all clinical units to ensure continuity of patient care. In partnership with clinical leadership, physicians and unit staff, the Supervisor assures that the standards of nursing practice and the standards of performance are achieved. The Supervisor promotes staff accountability to departmental and hospital policies, procedures and competencies. Qualifications Education: Required: Bachelors or better. Preferred: Masters or better. Experience: Required: Ability to deal effectively with people and to plan, organize, direct and evaluate the work of others. Demonstrates clinical competence in area of nursing practice and managerial competence. Preferred: 2 years progressive nursing management experience.
