Industrial Electrician
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment and systems. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on industrial equipment and systems
- Diagnose and repair motors, drives, starters, breakers, transformers, and control systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Work with PLCs, instrumentation, and electronic control systems
- Replace and install components such as motors, valves, thermocouples, and transmitters
- Support preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability
- Enter and track work orders in CMMS systems and locate parts as needed
- Operate mobile equipment and assist with rigging when required
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Industrial electrical maintenance experience required
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and control systems
- Experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and industrial automation preferred
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Familiarity with power distribution systems and AC/DC circuits
- Experience using hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and measuring devices
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and repetitive motion
- Ability to work in environments with dust, fumes, and industrial conditions
- Must be able to pass an electrical aptitude test
- Safety-focused mindset is required at all times
