TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Charlottesville, Virginia, 22903!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. Must have at least 1 year of experience in a level 1 trauma facility or 2 years in a level 2 trauma facility. Pediatric experience required, but it does not need to be in a dedicated pediatric emergency room. License: State license must be in hand by the Wednesday before the start date. Pending licenses may be accepted. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required. TNCC can be submitted as pending but must be obtained before the start date. Must-Have: Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or Level II Trauma Center is required. Familiarity with charting system experience, specifically Epic, is required. Experience with a patient ratio of 4:5 is standard for day and night shifts. Availability to work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays is mandatory. Description: This position involves cross-posting for an emergency room setting. Scheduled days will vary based on staffing needs. Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed. Must be willing to work nights, with either 36 or 48 hours planned. Only a maximum of 40 hours can be approved for time off. All required documentation and references must be submitted as part of the application process. Candidates will be required to float within their scope of practice as needed. Experience with trauma and critical care is essential for this role. The daily census is 165 patients, with support from various interdisciplinary teams. Candidates should possess strong triage skills and the ability to manage diverse patient populations.
