Travel Physical Therapist (PT) Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Location Shelbyville, Kentucky Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy Physical therapy experience (new graduates welcome) Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques. Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely and maintain them. Assess patient progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other HPs to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development. Collaborate in discharge planning for smooth transitions. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
