Position Overview The Assistant Food and Beverage Outlet Manager could be based in Room Service, Restaurant, Bar, or Lounge within the hotel. They will assist in overseeing all facets of the outlet. The Assistant Manager must maintain and control a high level of guest service. This is achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated by the restaurant staff. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for the hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining of the staff. Responsibilities Oversee all facets of the outlet across rooms, restaurants, bars, and lounges. Maintain a high level of guest service by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service from staff. Hire, train, supervise, and discipline staff. Qualifications Thorough knowledge of guest service, cost control, labor control, menu writing, merchandising, and accounting.
