Registered NurseWinston-Salem, NC Pay From: $38 Per HourMUST: The Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse should have the following:Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of North CarolinaAmbulatory experiencePre-Op and or PACU experience or ICU experience will be considered depending on experienceComfortable working pre-op and PACUComfortable starting and administering IV'sExperience updating patients charts using EMRStrong attention to detail and proactiveProviding patient educationMonitoring and assessing patientsDiscussing pre-op instructions, procedures and medical historiesBLS and ACLS CertifiedDUTIES: The Pre-Op /PACU Registered Nurse's duties include but are not limited to the following:Initiate and administer IV'sReview paperwork with patientsMonitor patients post operativelyAssess patientsReport adverse reactions to medications or treatmentsProvide patient education on surgical proceduresRecord patients' medical information and vital signsProvide pre- and post-surgery care to patientsAssist providers as neededPrepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patientsQuadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
