The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEC reporting and GAAP accounting requirements, be able to work independently and collaboratively, and have exceptional attention to detail. Please note employees work 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to the corporate site in Wilmington, DEYour Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of the Company’s Form 10-K, 10-Q, including footnotes and financial disclosures included in other sections of quarterly and annual reportsCollaborate with Investor Relations to coordinate the preparation and review of schedules included within the quarterly earnings materialsPrepare quarterly management reporting packagesAssists in the preparation and review of additional SEC filings including, Form 8-Ks, 11-K, registration statements, and Proxy statementMonitor and maintain the integrity of controls over the external reporting process through checklists, quarterly memorandums and other methods to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley 404Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate SEC reporting and technical accounting activities through the effective use of technology, data analytics, and emerging digital solutions.Work cross-functionally with other departments including Consolidations, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Business Finance, M&A, and Business Controllers to ensure accurate financial accounting and reportingAssist in the assessment of complex non-routine transactions and projects and the related SOX controls impacts. Examples include: acquisitions and divestitures, impairments of goodwill, intangible assets, and long-lived assets, revenue recognition, leases, sale / leaseback, derivatives, financing transactions, guarantees and indemnifications, exit and disposal activities, and foreign currency matters.Develop relationships and work closely with external and internal auditors to ensure communication of critical accounting and reporting issues in a timely mannerMaintain a thorough understanding of SEC rules and regulations and U.S. GAAP requirements associated with adoption of new accounting standards and related compliance requirementsSupporting disclosure developments surrounding global environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting including CSRD reporting requirementsSupports and provides inputs to the annual Proxy StatementPerform accounting research and peer reviews as needed to strengthen knowledge on accounting topics and industry viewsSupport department leadership with special projects and responsibilities as neededYour Qualification Profile: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related fieldCPA required5+ years of prior accounting/finance experienceSEC reporting experienceStrong technical accounting knowledge, including U.S. GAAPKnowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements and the COSO Internal Control Framework.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently and manage multiple tasksWorks well in teams with an ability to interact at all levels of the organizationFamiliarity with BPC, OneStream, SAP and Workiva are advantageousReporting accounting data and informationInterpreting and applying policies and proceduresPublic accounting and/or audit experience preferred#LI-EH1Join our Talent Community to stay connected with us!DuPont is an equal opportunity employer.
