This role is part of the Lebanon API Capital Finance team. This role will serve as a finance leader and strategic business partner for the Global Facilities Delivery (GFD) team and collaborator with the finance functional leadership of the manufacturing site. The role involves promoting financial efficiency and effectiveness through cost management, advancing excellence by supporting productivity initiatives, ensuring transparency and alignment by communicating the site’s cost structure and value proposition to stakeholders, upholding standards of integrity and accountability through rigorous financial compliance, and introducing innovative solutions and perspectives to the team by providing external insights.Responsibilities:Capital Planning/Forecasting/ReportingLead processes for strategic plan, quarterly forecasts, and annual business plan for capital investment projectInfluence/drive the business to maximize the value of the site to Lilly – cost reduction, productivity agenda, implement best practices and process improvementsLead monthly financial closing, including preparation of accounting journal vouchers and documentationUnderstand, prepare and present monthly results of site metrics (project expenses and capital) and be in position to discuss course corrections with Site and Capital Project Lead TeamsBusiness PartneringInfluence project teams to identify productivity improvements and cost reduction opportunitiesWork with support operations in Procurement and Project Controls to identify cost savings opportunities, manage the capital budget, influence the change management process, and ensure efficient and effective financial controls processes are in placeSupport Project Teams on preparation of financial materials to be presented to various Governance and Steering teamsEngage with and provide financial guidance to Program Management, Project Directors, and other leaders across GFDPartner with the Project team to develop appropriate strategies for Capital Investment Request management (eCIRs), and serve as financial approver for eCIRsBenchmark among other Lilly greenfield sites and externally to drive new/innovative ideas and ensure best practicesOwn the financial governance of the change management process and management reserve drawdown approvals, ensuring change requests are substantiated with evidence and correctly classified before fundingServe as the finance point of contact in the external business partnership with EPCM contractor, leading review and cost challenge of change order requests to validate pricing, markups, root cause classifications, and vendor responsibility, and to minimize cost on behalf of LillyComplianceEnsure appropriate financial controls exist for all accounting activityProvide guidance to the site on capital financial policies, internal controls, and accounting mattersBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeMinimum 6 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), corporate accounting, capital finance budgeting, or forecasting and reportingPreferences:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, EconomicsMBA and 3 years of experience in Finance or related roleOverall manufacturing business knowledgeCPATechnical proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, & SAPBusiness/technical leadership potentialDemonstrated teamwork and business partnering skillsExcellent communication / facilitation and influencing skills with ability to translate complex financial topics simplyAnalytical & organizational skillsProject planning and implementation skillsAdditional Information:Position Location: US: Lebanon IN LP1Travel Percentage (%): <10%Lilly may provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role for internal applicants only.Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions. The anticipated wage for this position is$132,000 - $193,600Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
