Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations through thorough history-taking and physical assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that promote optimal health outcomes.

• Implement personalized treatment protocols based on individual patient evaluations, ongoing assessments, and evidence-based best practices to support rehabilitation goals.

• Document treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes accurately and timely in our electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals by consulting on patient care and recognizing changes in patient conditions that require modifications to treatment plans.

• Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting adherence to rehabilitation programs and enhancing understanding of their recovery process.

• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions, contributing insights to the continual improvement of patient care protocols and clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients dealing with orthopedic injuries and conditions, such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. By offering personalized care, you will help patients ranging from active adults to seniors regain mobility, strength, and confidence. Your expertise will be critical in empowering individuals to rehabilitate effectively and achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.

• A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, specifically in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

• Proven ability to document patient care activities clearly and concisely, generating reports that reflect patient progress and treatment adjustments.

• Experience with various treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.

Compensation and Benefits
