Staff Accountant

CV Resources is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Caldwell to identify a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a mix of general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and operational support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team while gaining exposure to multiple areas of accounting and finance. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and monthly accruals Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Support financial statement preparation and internal reporting Assist with inventory and manufacturing-related accounting activities Analyze financial data and provide reporting support to management Support internal and external audit requests Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Assist with process improvements and accounting system initiatives Partner with operations and other departments to ensure accurate financial information Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience is a plus Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities Preferred Experience Manufacturing environment Inventory accounting ERP system experience Cost accounting exposure Financial analysis and reporting Why Consider This Opportunity?
