Dick Smith Ford is looking for an experienced Ford Diesel Technician to join our growing Commercial Truck Service Center. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who wants consistent work, strong earning potential, and a dealership that recognizes and rewards performance.

• Pay starting at $55.00 per flat-rate hour, depending on Ford certifications, experience, and skill level

Vehicles You Will Service

• Ford Super Duty trucks
• Ford Power Stroke diesel vehicles
• Commercial fleet vehicles
• Chassis cab trucks
• Medium-duty trucks
• Gas and diesel-powered commercial vehicles
• Motorhome/RV class A, B, B+, C

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, transmissions, driveline components, electrical systems, emissions systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, vehicle inspections, D.O.T. inspections
• Use Ford diagnostic equipment and factory service information
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
• Properly document diagnostic findings and completed repairs
• Communicate repair needs clearly with the service team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications

• Previous diesel technician experience required
• Ford diesel and Power Stroke experience strongly preferred
• Ford certifications preferred
• Strong electrical and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• CDL is a plus but not required
• ASE certifications are a plus
