Cardiac Surgery ICU APP (NP/PA) Inpatient Coverage St. Joseph s Health Hospital Inpatient ICU & Step Down Units Job ID (NP): 66932 St. Joseph s Health Hospital is seeking two (2) full time Advanced Practice Providers (NP or PA) to join their Cardiac Surgery ICU / Step Down Team . This opportunity is available due to an employee resignation and offers consistent weekday hours in a collaborative critical care environment. Coverage Dates June 1 October 2 ️ Schedule Monday Friday Day/Evening shifts 40 hours minimum per week May increase to up to 50 hours/week based on service needs No OR coverage required Practice Setting Inpatient ICU and step down unit coverage Adult patient population Average daily workload: Up to 10 notes per day Phone coverage for all inpatients Scope & Responsibilities Non operative cardiac surgery ICU role Autonomous APP practice with strong physician support Supervising physicians and Critical Care physicians onsite Procedures include: Central line placement Arterial line placement Chest tube placement Chest tube removal Wound vac changes Ideal Candidate Profile Open to Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ICU / Critical Care experience required Cardiac critical care experience preferred Inpatient medicine with cardiology focus highly desirable Comfortable working autonomously in an acute care setting Technology EMR: Epic ️ Credentialing Estimated timeframe: 6 weeks Opportunity Highlights Full time weekday coverage Non operative role (no OR requirement) Strong physician and critical care support High acuity inpatient experience Team based cardiac ICU environment Apply today or reach out directly to Stacy Neifeld via / .
