Sales Executive

Job Description

• Utilizes communication and sales skills to highlight product and service advantages
• Inside sales role only; requires onsite office presence
• Provides quotes, samples, and follow-up to secure orders
• Conducts high-volume outbound calls to existing accounts to retain and grow business
• Researches, identifies, and closes new customers to drive new business
• Builds strong customer relationships to foster trust and loyalty
• Prepares accurate sales forecasts and meets established sales goals
• Applies technical knowledge to recommend appropriate products
• Studies competitors to maintain a competitive edge
• Maintains and updates prospect and customer databases
• Identifies expansion opportunities within existing accounts
• Manages direct sales for small to medium-sized customers
• Researches accounts and key decision-makers to generate interest
• Supports outside sales efforts and assists with new business development
• Collaborates with internal teams (customer care, samples, warehouse, quality, finance, marketing)
• Assists marketing with pricing updates and new product announcements
• Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3+ years of technical inside sales or customer service experience preferred
• Experience in manufacturing, ideally plastics or packaging, preferred
• May require local and out-of-state travel and trade show attendance
