Senior Industrial EngineerAECOM is recruiting talented individuals to lead our Industrial Engineering team across multiple regions and offices. Reporting to a Market Sector Leader or Industrial Principal, you will support the delivery of high-value Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial projects, contributing to both technical excellence and commercial success while developing Client relationships and Business development.As the Senior Industrial Engineer, you will develop and deliver a high-performing Process Optimization capability that delivers complex, high-impact projects across a range of Federal and Commercial industries, while embedding Lean thinking and industrial best practice into all aspects of delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the development of value propositions for process optimization, manufacturing and industrial advisory servicesDevelop data-driven insights and translate them into practical, deliverable solutionsManage and Deliver projects and workstreams to agreed quality, cost and scheduleApply Lean, Six Sigma and industrial engineering techniques to analyze and improve client operationsBuild effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersContribute to business development activities, including proposals and thought leadershipCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AECOMContribute to the development of best practice methods and standardsSupport capability development through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharingThis role will include travel across the United States, as well as internationally as neededMinimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline plus 8 years of related experience, or demonstrable equivalent experienceDue to the nature of the role, United States Citizenship is requiredPreferred QualificationsMaster's DegreeProfessional memberships and/or certifications will be beneficial15 years overall industry experience, with 3-5 years of role-specific experienceBackground in manufacturing, industrial engineering, process improvement, or related operational environmentsExperience working within or alongside highly regulated industries (e.g. defense, aviation, nuclear, infrastructure, manufacturing)Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical, value-driven solutionsExperience applying Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teamsAbility to translate analysis into actionable recommendationsExperience applying Lean principles in non-manufacturing environmentsConsulting experience in complex project environments is a plusAdditionally, experience in the following areas is preferable:Process mapping, analysis and optimizationProduction systems, facility design or industrial operationsData analysis and performance improvementProject delivery and workstream managementAutomation, robotics or manufacturing systems integrationDigital manufacturing, simulation or data analytics toolsExperience applying Lean principles in non-manufacturing environmentsAdditional InformationSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
